Every time I sort the channel list By Type and Caption, they turn back to the old arrangement after I exit and run ProgDVB again. How can I keep the same arrangement after I exit the program?

try favorite option ( channel list property )

Better add a favourites list ands copy & paste stations into it. You can make your custom folders and manual sorting then.

All visible channel lists (trees) are special link collections, that point to channels.dat, the real data base.
Sorting of dynamic lists is effected by automatic routines, specially after scanning.
Sorting of favs is not effected, except of stations getting deleted from the data base.
