TT-premium C-2300: No channels

Hi everyone!

My TT C-2300 DVB-C device works great within the TechnoTrend software. However, ProgDVB 5.12.06 doesn't find any channel.

I tried the transponder lists "Cabel (dvb-c)" and "Germany AVC Berlin-Brandenburg" because I have a Kabel Deutschland access and live in Berlin. The selected card is "SkyStar1 over TT - Hard mode [card1]". With these settings a channel search doesn't yield results.

Furthermore I tried to import channel lists for Kabel Deutschland. This displays me a list of channels on the left but when I select one, the display stays black. There are two bars at the bottom, the first one is at 75 to 85 percent, the second one is fixed to 0 percent.

It would be great if anyone could give me a hint to make the card work. As already said, the TechnoTrend software works but ProgDVB looks more promising.

Thanks!

What driver and original software package version do you use?

For one or two working main stations, write down the channel parameters from the original software, scan manually with that parameters in ProgDVB.

Frequencies, data rates and alike can vary from one cable network to the other, even on the same provider.
Berlin may be a very special situation, due to nasty Hauptstadt related political interests and interference, I bet...

Juergen,

thanks for your fast response.

What driver and original software package version do you use?
Currently, I use version 2.19h (24/04/2007). I also tried version 2.19 (30/09/2005) which was shipped with my card. Both versions are available at the TechnoTrend
support pages
but did not work in combination with ProgDVB. The Software that worked (DVB-TV.EXE version 2.19.8.0) was included in that driver package.

The System is running a German Windows XP and has no PCIe bus. The ProgDVB was just a standard installation.

I'll give the manual setup a try and report afterwards...

edit:

I looked up the data for channel "Das Erste" in the TechnoTrend software:

Frequency: 426 MHz
Symbol rate: 6900 KS/s
Modulation: QAM 64*

I created a new channel list in ProgDVB ("channel list" -> "new" -> "OK"). Then I right-clicked into the left area, selected "New channel", entered "Das Erste" as name and set up "Frequency", "Symbol rate" and "QAM".

After clicking "OK" I had the new channel in my list but the display is still black :(

edit:

I forget to note that the 2.19h driver from the TechnoTrend website detected my card as "Octal DVB-C + Analog Rec. 1.1" device. I tried to force it to the TechnoTrend model but it had no effect.

Hello,

i have the same problem.
I'm using the same card and it works with the software that came with it, but i'd like to get it working with prog-dvb.
i have Win XP SP2 and the 2.19h pcie driver (because i have a pcie graphics card).
I am running the card in software mode (someone told me i should do so)

when scanning for channels prog DVB says it found 0....

any ideas what adjustments i could do to get it working?
