problem with windows service pack 3

I installed WINDOWS service pack 3 , but my progdvb player can not find device ( technisat skystar 2 v2.6)
it shows this error:Device not started! (advanced DVB- s pci card)
but dvb dream is working with spk3
.

Before installing a service pack, you shoukld have had been looking for HW comaptibility issues. AFAIK SP3 for XP is not yet out officially.
Basically, Prog is correct, driver issues are not rare on such occasions...
BTW, also DirectX and other important components may be effected.
Forst of all, try Windows Update repeatedly and reboot, until you won't get anything found anymore.
Then hit the hardware manufacturer pages, as in most cases driver updates would be available earlier there and more complete / capable.
