5.14.8 "Error to enumerate sound devices"

#1
When I try to open device list I get several "Error to enumerate sound devices" errors. I have Analog input module and I'm under Vista x64 but I use progdvb x86 version. This message shows up even when I enable my Cynergy XS BDA device, but the tv card works correctly.

In Addition, when I try to enable my Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS FM Analog Capture I get several "Error to enumerate sound devices" messages. Then it seems to be enabled but the device options look like this:

and I can't select anything.
Log contains:

Error
pPropertyName->Read(L"FriendlyName", &DeviceName, NULL) Error to enumerate sound devices
Error
pPropertyName->Read(L"FriendlyName", &DeviceName, NULL) Error to enumerate sound devices
Error
pPropertyName->Read(L"FriendlyName", &DeviceName, NULL) Error to enumerate sound devices
Error
-1 No filter to get property.

I'm using progDvb x86 version 5.14.5 under Vista x64. My tv card is Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS FM and DVB works good, even when I enable it I get the same "Error to enumerate..." message.

Please help, thanks[/img]

I suppose, you can only access one of the components at a time. Means, as long as one device is started, any other may be unavailable.

MS BDA model comes with quite some limitations, for which only the manufacturers may know a way to bypass, like to switch devices.

Getting a name "FriendlyName" means, not defined / existing. DeviceName NULL points into the very same direction, no such device available. So the analogue device part seems to not be activated, perhaps because something still is set to DVB. This may be related with the original application and the way it leaves the device.

You should have told that before...
So, perhaps there is a new bug, or something has to be set up in a different way. possibly due to changes on that version (and up).
However, as I don't have your hardware (nor Vista), I can't test here.

So please, if there's someone else around who can proceed ...
