What Vista version?

What does hauppauge tell on this?
They would have to provide suitable drivers...

Did you try our search function?

This is Vista Premium 32bits.
When I install progDVB; what card I Chosse in the menu (Skystar...) for my WinTV HVR 4000?
I don't talk Hauppauge about this problem
I've got the last drivers for my card : WinTV 4.6b

That's not the driver in use, but a multi purpose driver / software package.

Please look into system control / device manager, to find out the exact driver.
This way you can determine, if it's a BDA driver or not. If yes ,you should, after complete installation and setup of the original software, be able to find a specific BDA device in ProgDVB (for each DVB component of that hardware).

Important to help you would be, to know the precise .INF file(s).

AFAIK ProgDVB does not (yet) recognize this new kind of separate USB CI device.
Normally a CI connects to the DVB hardware directly and is part of the device file for it.

@ Prog:
Do you plan to support it?.
May then even be useful for people with other than hauppauge tuners ;)

Thanks.Apparently,ProgDVB also recognize the CI integrated on the card and not on usb port. But for the future can you created a driver base on the original driver ( http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showth ... #post66523) for my WinTV-CI.
