I'm using progdvb to watch dvb-c channels and I'm very satisfied, it works really good. The only thing that bothers me is the slow tuning, for example when I change a channel it takes about 5 sec to display it. Is this normal or there is a way to speed it up?

Must be ~1 second. 2 second maximum. Try start ProgDVB with /Debug key.

PS: also it can depended from hardware.

Like admin said, depends on hardware. My TT S2-3200 talkes up to 3 seconds but my other card TBS 8920 takes only 1 second with the same signal quality. Certain cards are just better.
