Hi there,

sorry, if my english is not the best, I´m a pupil. I´ve changed my operation system back to windows xp, no crashes since this.

But I´ve another problem. If I watch TV, I´ve steps (in german for Jürgen: Das Video springt) in the video. This is really annoying.

Also got a few seconds of video lost

Here´s a example, wich with you can see my problem: www.prepaid-usenet.de/error.ts

Same also in record, as you can see.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Operating System: Windows XP 32Bit
Card: Creatix CTX929 (no problems with this card before)
Renderer: Direct Video Renderer

You are correct, there is a structural error in that file.
Do you have critical low level / quality?

Also possible, you're suffering from some kind of networking related trouble, or something causes heavy hard disk traffic (like excessive swap file usage or a nasty indexing service).
If possible, repeat recording onto an external hard disk.

Here's the PVAStrumento analysis in full:

Hello Juergen and thanks for your answer,

no, both bars have 100%!

No problems with my harddisk. Also If I choose for Timeshift-Buffer not Harddisk, but Ram, the same problem. The steps are also, if I only watch TV, not only if I record.

Does no one have an idea?
This is really not good, I´ve purchased ProgDVB and now it doesn´t work correct :-(

What you mean "steps" ? Is it depended from channel?

Dropped frames or GOPs, temporary freezes or similar.
Like in that file he uploaded.

Reason unknown...

Tested with 4.85.3 - no problems. Really strange...

Really funny, problem solved by activating "use only one CPU" - i think. Since I´ve done this, no problems anymore!
