Is needed have the tdtcard software installed using ProgDVB?

I have a stupid question, is needed have the tdtcard's software installed using ProgDVB or with the controller (and the ProgDVB) is enought?.

What is a "tdtcard"???
However, if wanting to use a DVB tuner with a BDA driver, it may (but not must) be necessary, to install the original software, before the device gets available for ProgDVB.

So this is about DVB-T.
Means, your device most likely uses BDA drivers.
So, first try the original software.
Then play around with ProgDVB.

Yes, is DVB-T. I have problems with the original software of avermedia, when I install it I cannot play mp4 files in the GOM player nor videolan.
For this reason I am trying now using ProgDVB without install the full avermedia software (only installing the avermedia controller) and seems ProgDVB is working fine.
