Do you have signal? Can you record and playback file from this channel?

Hello,

I have a similar problem: I'm using Astra Satellite (digital TV, Germany) and whenever I switch to "DSF", "Pro Sieben" or "Sat1", I can not switch back to "Das Erste" and associated channels "Eins Festival" or "Eins Plus", which are pure black with no audio either. Eurosports is also black.
Maybe there are several other channels, but I tested these and it is 100% reproducable.
In the meanwhile I got used to this problem, because I had this bug since the first time I use ProgDVB. Was always the same, I tried each of the 6.x Pro versions.
Although the channels are black, I tried to record as you asked for and it worked, I could playback the recorded file using ProgDVB or VLC.

A second problem is with DSF in general: It has strange artifacts from time to time: pink and green bars and squares and also audio distortions (klicks) and after a while (4-5min) ProgDVB crashes. I first thought this has something to do with the satellite dish, but I tried a standalone 40 Euro receiver and it did well. Also ProgDVB says that DSF has 100% and 94% (signal strength, quality) in the two bars at the bottom and DSF is the only channel which has this second problems...

My System is Win XP on P4-2.8, Abit IC7 Mainboard, 2Gb Kingston Value Select, ATI 1950 XT AGP (previously Gainward NV 6800 GT with the same problems). My TV Card is a Hauppauge Win TV HVR-4000 with the latest driver 4.6b. Everything is up to date I think. DirectX, .net 1, 2, 3, 3.5. I installed ffdshow and CoreAVC .h264, but it was the same for the Elecard codec which is expired since 2 month, so I do not use it anymore.

greetings
Lars

There are two problems with the transponder DSF uses, being overcrowded and therefore frequently dropping data on the uplink multiplexor - the dirty way, and getting heavy interference from DECT cordless phones, through the LNB cable..
Second reason caused SAT.1, ProSieben and others to leave that one.

However, your other issues are not related with this.
Maybe you are (still) having codec issues, like with audio mode / data rate changes. First of all, check your channel props of the channels giving trouble when switching away. Try to set AC3 audio to ID 0 (= not available), channel to not update. If this helps, try a different or no AC3 decoder.

Like this?

I've a problem with an italian DVB-T channel "RAI Tre": when i record in .MPG the audio vanished and the video stutter. If i record in .TS no problem.
This problem are since in the release 5.1x.x (all release 6.0x.x too).

I've a problem with an italian DVB-T channel "LA7" since in the version 5.1x.x (all release 6.0x.x too): if i select this channel for first it's work (i see video and i heard audio) but if change channel and i re-select "LA7" i don't see the video (black screen) someone i heard the audio.
If i select "close video window" (right-click on the black screen) and i re-select the channel work (video and audio OK). Isn't the video codec. I've changed but the bug still.

[....]

The problem still.
DVB-T channel "LA7" is detected scrambled but isn' t it why the mux "MBONE" transmit many channel pay-tv, i don't use any plug-in, "RAI Tre" is a free channel.
