Hi from France

First thanks for this software.

Since a few day, some french TNT chanels in HD udpated the format of their sound without prompt

Now theses chains are provides sound in the Dolby Digital+ (AC3+) format...

This is a matter for a lot of people here, most hardware or softwares are unable to read this new format and need an uppdate to be able to decode this format.

Do you know if there is a way to decode this format with progdvb ?
Indeed, the it's appear that the dolby digtal+ is unknow for progdvb, as it is displayed. Or if devellopers needs to update the software ?
At this time, for this channels, i have only pictures and no sound.
Standard chanels, not in hd, works fine.

I'am using vista SP2 X64 Ultimate French

Thanks in advance.

You can try install ac3filter (http://ac3filter.net/) and select in settings->options->audio

Please let me know when you get the file, that i can delete this one of the server of my website. Thanks in advance for this.

Hi

I use an internal pc card, connected to a terrestrial antena, no satelite.

This is a general problem with the signal which as been modified, a lot of hardware, as the firmware of standalone lcd tv screens, pc cards softwares ... needs an update to display any sound in dolby digital+.

There are here many people who are very happy at this time here

This is the same problem for a lot of people ( i read several french forum ) even if the signal come from, terrestrial antena, internet box, satelite.

I own a very new HP computer, which integrate by defaut a tv software in the provided built-in system, and this is the same problem...

here some links i hope will help you i found:

http://www.dolby.com/consumer/technolog ... _plus.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolby_Digital_Plus

http://www.hdforum.fr/docs/20080605-Spe ... .5_ENG.pdf

http://www.hdforum.fr/docs/Signalisatio ... 3%20V3.pdf

I read somewhere that people who test windows7 are able to read dolby digital+ sound, the future new's microsoft environement should be able to read any sound of this type.
But i not personnaly tested...
