Dvb-T and DVB-S simultanously?

Hi!

I own the Hauppauge HVR-3000 with a DVB-T and a DVB-S Tuner. I use the Sattilite for free-TV and the antenna for the local stations (ORF, ATV).
I have both types of Programms in my Favourites-List, but i can only watch one type. When i try to activate both "Cards" this happens:

Its very annoying that i always have to turn the one on and the other off..
Someone has a solution for me?

The way, the original application changes the tuners on-the-fly, is not known in public.
Both tuners share some following-up hardware components, that are included in the device initiation routines. So they can't be addressed independently.

Perhaps the best way to go is, to set up ProgDVB twice, one time per tuner, and use just one version at a time.

same prob. with Hauppauge HVR 4000

Hi,

same prob. here with HVR 4000.

Maybe there are enough users with "hybrid" tuners to support the development of a dual driver :-)

Hauppauge WinTV7 manages to change channels between DVB-S and -T on the fly. But ProgDVB is superior in so many ways so please think about it.

Best Regards
Paul
