Hi,

I have a problem with my TT FF-Card Rev. 1.3 (Hauppauge Nexus-S Rev. 1.3).

When I change chanels between two transponders it seems that the card don't get a command to change the transponder.
When I have that problem and start the device options and just confirm it with "ok" it's all fine.
But when I change chanel between two transponders again it's dark again and I have to repeat the device options-thingy.

My setup:
OS: Windows XP Prof. SP2 (all updates+Net. 3.5)
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3000+ (Winchester@1,8Ghz)
RAM: 1Gb DDR-RAM@400Mhz Dual-Chanel
Active Plugins or Modules: none
Language: german (english the same problem)

I receive Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13.0E over DiseqC 1.0

After uppdating from ProgDVB 6.24.0 to ProgDVB 6.24.1 it doesn't work at all.
I have TT budget DVB-T. No picture and no sound.
XP sp3 all updates. .NET all versions and updates.

The new version got crapped
I think it isn't the device it is the software.
I use a MSI Digivox v3 and i only have a black window in ProgDVB too^^
But.. not only a black window.. every window i have opened flicks for a short time (after starting ProgDVB or changing a channel).

My OS is WinXP x64 SP2 and sry about my worse English

Try the TT Skystar 1 soft mode driver. Works here fine so far except the transponder thing.

Best version of ProgDVB for my SS1 and hardware mode still is 4.75
All later versions have limitations in hardware support.
Only 16:9 support for the computer screen hardware overlay has just come up recently.

If you don't want / need all hardware features, you may be better off with new versions, but then you should use software mode or even install the KS drivers for PCI-e boards, to force software decoding for the desktop picture, even if device run in HW mode.

I install the new versions in new folders to test, allways. This 6.24.01 is working, but with various problems in the channel lists. Scanning a terrestrial card doesn´t make a new folder to its channels. The old problems with channels disapearing or changing parameters in the list, wrongly, are more intense with this update. The last version is better.

After rebooting the system it started to work. It is my work computer so I usuallay dont reboot unless necessary. Usually no reboot is needed when updating ProgDVB.
