Lost Signal

Hello,

today bad day i opened my pc ,progdvb & got no signal :(
i did test the satellite cable with tv & receiver to see the problem & all work fine , signal ok , tv ok

got back to progdvb no signal 0%

what can be the problem ? :cry:

Prog help me plz :oops:

Did you test with the original software, or with any other?
Did you change anything on your system recently?

We don't have any details yet, that might help people on helping you...

nothing mate touched in the pc
what i did is that i removed the cable satellite and moved in the back & then set it again & boom signal goes to 0% :(
but when i go to progdvb device list i can see that is enabled but no signal
i did reinstalled progdvb again nothing :oops:

plz help me

Well, if you hot plugged the LNB cable, there is a high chance, you've blown the tuner input circuitry to pieces. Almost certain, if you also forgot about grounding the LNB cable's shield to the electrical system's ground and pole / dish to the lightning protective system earthing...

Wind flow around the dish causes static charges, which must not be discharged to the tuner input, specially as on F connectors, the inner (hot / sensitive) wire tends towards contacting first. Several kilovolts of peak voltage fed to a tuner input, that does it...

You may have to say goodbye to that thing :roll:

You should have unplugged the computer before de- / attaching the LNB cable

yes that's the only answer i can find :cry:
maybe is better & time to buy new one which support DVB-S2 :D
