ProgDVB Transponder and DisEQ problems

Is ProgDVB compatible with Avermedia SatGate CAM ?
The latest 32 bit version is able to access CAM Interface. I can see the CI card's menu, navigate thru. However ProgDvb does not descramble the channels.
I'm using ProdDVB under Windows 7 ultimate x64 SP1.

Ah ok this is tricky. Turns out, it wasn't about the CAM at all.
I have a subscribed platform and the sattelite's LNB is a little tricky. It has ranges for LOFs and even Switch

So I need to find a way to add channels from different LNBs(but actually there's only 1 physical lnb on the sat dish) to one list. I know diseq works. However If i could just create a custom transponder list.... Is there any way to edit transponder lists ?

I partially solved this. I'm using diseq 1.0, 4 LNB settings. I could put 4 new satellites with specific transponders. On Channel Search for Avermedia, shows 4 entries now but when I select 1, it searches all which is stupid. It even tries to search transponders not in the list.
Basically what progdvb needs is that the user should be able to define different LNBs for each Transponder frequency. You wouldn't believe me but Avermedia's AverTV 3D beta application has this. Super easy but that application crashes due to OSD problems.

Check settings->Device options. Is it Aver selected?
Also try install last version of ProgDVB

Yeah i'm on latest ProgDVB and Aver is selected. The Channel search is a little confusing but i got the hang of it. I suppose I can't use my Avermedia Remote Control on progdvb ?

So basically I had to do these. Because it's a special LNB on the Satellite dish.
It's digiturk so it's on 7.0 Eutelsat w3a. However each digiturk frequency works with different LNB settings. So I had to add 4 new Satellites with corresponding transponders. I had found out I needed 4 lnb settings by trial and error. Trying different LNB settings on all digiturk frequencies. I opened up All.list and added :
- 0020=Astra 1C
0028=Rascom QAF 1R
0040=Eurobird 4A
0048=Astra 1E,4A
0070=Eutelsat W3A
0071=Digiturk 9550-11575-9925
0072=Digiturk 9550-11700-9925
0073=Digiturk 9830-11575-9925
0074=Digiturk 9550-10700-9925
0090=Eurobird 9A Eutelsat Ka-Sat
0100=Eutelsat W2A
0130=Hot Bird 6,8,9
Then in the LNB settings, I select Transponder List, they are empty, then I add frequencies. Then the program creates :
0071.UserList
0072.UserList
0073.UserList
0074.UserList
Then I add a diseq 1.0 switch to the Avermedia Tuner. Select each sattelite and set corresponding LNB settings. However after this, I have to use "Scan Transponder", because If I do channel search like this:
If I select only 1 diseq entry, it'll search all and it can mess things up. So I do Scan Transponder and search frequencies manually, in the end there'll be 4 channel lists for each Satellite entry(4xDiseq) Then I just merge all channel lists

What type of switch you use?

I don't use any switches. That's the thing. The LNB is only for Digiturk with its own Receiver. The LNB has ranges for FOV 1 and FOV 2, not just 1 value. It's not intended for use with Sat/TV cards

That's why i have to do so much work to find channels.
Nevermind the remote controller, I'm using Logitech cordless Rumblepad 2 as Mouse on Windows 7. Very smooth.
I think this thread has become educational after all
