1 particular channel Freeze after random intervals

Ok, this also happens with Avermedia's own AverTV 3D application so it's probably not about software but maybe codecs.
What happens is that I can watch this SD channel like 3-4 minutes then the video is frozen and audio is gone, there's still signal and quality. No other channel does this. Debug shows there's still input, all numbers continue. From what I can tell, this channel has the best quality video. Maybe there's an overflow somewhere on the codec level. Is there a way to determine this ? I tried all codecs, Cyberlink or MS demux, all the same.
Some questions since I got a topic :
1. The log check on debug window is reset everytime I start Progdvb. And where's the log file ?
2. When a channel is selected, there's an info box for a few seconds. How can I access that box without clicking the channel again ? Because it contains video and audio bitrates.
Moreinfo: I click the channel on the list and it works again, I open Options and click OK without changing anything, it works again, only to freeze at a random time later
