i have the latest version od progdvb 32 bit, on win 7 ultimate x64. card is ss2 s2 pci.
issues are since a few versions, it's not related only to the latest one.

what happens:

1. i'm not able to do a channel scan. it works fine but suddenly towards the end of the scan, progdvb turns the last viewed channel on, while the scannong progress window stays on. scan is completed by for example 85%. changes to the transponders are not visible. manual scan of single transponders works fine.

2. from time to time progdvb starts to skip and slows down the picture. it's like frame rate drops to 5-6 fps. delaying the stream by a second or more with pause/play on time shift helps, turning off or changing the buffer size has no influenece. also switching between full screen, windowed and normal view restores normal speed. audio is not affected. recording is not affected. happens with prog and microsoft demultiplexer, cyberlink11, ffdshow and microsoft codecs. regardless of channel chosen. i'm unable to find the source of the problem, would be glad for any hints.

let me know if you need any data/logs and so on.

At first you can try both types of drivers (BDA and WDM). You can try change delay for scanner in Settings->Options->Scanner

i did not found any BDM for the SS2 S2, anyway, changing the delay had no influence, so i wend the straight way. renamed C:\Program Files (x86)\ProgDVB to C:\Program Files (x86)\OLDProgDVBOLD and installed new. copied the licence file and plugin folder - all gone. So i guess i won't be able to find the cause, but the issues are solved sorry for bothering, and thank you for this fantastic program
