Good morning, I installed windows 8 and progdvb does not function.

When progdvb starts I see the following message:

Error connection of Video REndererer! stream type: MPEG"

Please chek up Settings ->Options -> Video and Audio.
Problably one of necessary codecs is not chosen or not installed on your computer.

Second try: Error in default graph building!

I known that windows 8 does not include mpeg2 codec and I installed one.

I see in video and audio options MPEG2 Mcsft DTV-DVD Video decoder.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance

I'm am now getting this error after running ProgDVB under Windows 8 for some time. The issue seems to have come after installing WinDVD 11. How do I sort this mess out? I have no clue about fixing codec messes under Windows. Do I have to now go and get the 32bit version, or is there another solution?

Thanks, it took me a bit to figure out what happened. PowerDVD's uninstall failed and left some broken codecs. I reinstalled PowerDVD again to get things working again.

ok, i setted up the mpeg2 codec (FFV). I can see the sattelite tv (DVBS it's ok) but when I select a DVBT channel I can't view anything and ProgDVB crash without any error message.

Pleases do you have other info about this problem?

Thanks in advance
