S2 and Diseq support...

Is there any news on getting S2 (MPEG4) HD and Diseq supported in some of the new PCI card, like the Hauppauge HVR4000 or the Technotrend S2-3200.
I mistakenly though that purchasing the Elecard version would allow me to see: "Ability to watch AVC/H.264 video (include DVB-S2)".. like it said.
I realize that the BDA driver not currently supports this, but never the less is it supported by the native programs that comes with the cards. They are just generally not very good.
My question is do we have to wait until Microsoft expands the BDA standard, which I guess could take a long time, or??? It seemed like there was some activity in the OpenSource Linux world to get theese cards going in S2 and with Diseq.
