Help needed with Cyberlink filter...

So I recently installed a new SSD, and have started with a new copy of Windows 8. ProgDVB runs fine (I get sound, no picture), but I can't get the PowerDVD filter to be registered, as I had it before. I've read pages and pages on how to do this, but people's instructions on how to are terrible. Plus, I don't understand the lingo.
So, is there an easy way to? Or, am I best forgetting it and trying something else? Windows 8's default filters just do not work.

1. Use ProgDVB x32 for cyberlink codecs.
2. You can install Windows media center for activation of MS codecs in win.

So that was a waste of time. The latest version killed both my original x64 install and the new x86 ProgDVB, so the channel search finds nothing. I've tried many, many times. It's useless. Maybe the X86 version would find the Cyberlink filter, but it's broken now, so it doesn't matter.
If there's something really simple I'm missing I'd love to know, but I'm starting to wonder why I chose Prog.

Yes, dvb-t. Is there a problem with this release?
EDIT: Awesome, that's better already! Although the program's been driving me crazy over the last few days, it's hard to fault the help
