I have installed a NEXUS-S and PROGDVB. Although channel search found channels the screen remains black on all channels?
Can you help me?

whtat about some details about your pc (video card (AGP or pci-e),),progdvb version , progdvb settings (e.g. device settings,Video etc..)used driver for your nexus etc...etc...

ich denke ich kann auch auf deutsch antworten, oder?

also ich habe ein DELL Latitude 620 notebook in einer DockingStation, in der auch die NEXUS-S, PCI installiert ist.

Grafik: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110
BS: Win XP. Pro 2002 SP2
CPU: Intel Core(TM)2 CPU T7600@2,33GHz

ProgDVB (3 verschiedene probiert): 4.82 Std / 4.82 Intel / 4.83 Elecard

Nexustreiber: Hauppauge DVB218c und Technotrend Virtual DVB-S/C/T Network Adaptor V.1.0.1 probiert

unter Astra 1C-1H bekomme ich zwar beim Suchlauf Kanäle rein, sogar mit sehr guten Empfangswerten, aber der Bildschirm bleibt dunkel. Die Anzeige bleibt so:

Beim Suchlauf über Hotbird bekomme ich überhaupt keine Kanäle, Qualität und Level bleiben weit unter 20%
Mit der Originalsoftware funktioniert alles.

Anyway, did you test the Nexus' TV out?

BTW, regarding the driver number, I only know those from Technotrend packages. Their KS driver from package 2.19c makes use of codecs even if switched to HW mode, for the PC screen picture only. This means, codecs have to be installed, configured and used... Even if using other software!
As hauppauge package numbers differ, perhaps your version also is KS based...

However, even possible, some overlay problem disables the PC screen picture, so try surface instead.

No idea on your DiSEqC switching problem, check all relevant settings.

First of all, fully install and adjust the original application.
Later you can use the codecs, that come with it, in ProgDVB as well.

Look through all menue items, properties and settings...

Learning by doing...
