I'm trying to cascade two 8x1 Diseqcs.
Like this:
Receiver<--Output<--Diseqc (1) INPUT 1<--Output<--Diseqc (2) INPUT 1<--LNB8
--------------------------------INPUT 2<--LNB1---------------INPUT 2<--LNB9
--------------------------------INPUT 3<--LNB2---------------INPUT 3<--LNB10
--------------------------------INPUT 4<--LNB3
--------------------------------INPUT 5<--LNB4
--------------------------------INPUT 6<--LNB5
--------------------------------INPUT 7<--LNB6
--------------------------------INPUT 8<--LNB7

As a test for this setup I'm having Nilesat 7W as LNB8 and Hotbird 13E as LNB9.
I can scan and see Nilesat no problem, but I can't see nor scan hotbird.



Any ideas?

2 diseqs must have different types. For example one diseq 1.0 and second diseq 1.1.

What would be the logic behind this? Is it because the diseqc command for the 1.1 is different from the diseqc command for the 1.0?

yes. And every device working only with self commands.
