I just bought and installed the software, having exactly the same problem as described here.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate.


After removing the remote control section in the ProgDVB.ini file it starts up.

I removed

[RemoteControl]
PluginName=UnivHIDRemoteControl.RcModule
