How to (re)activate DVB-C with Triple/Quattro-USB-Sticks?

#1
I have here a bunch of USB Sticks under WinXP:
- Pinnacle PCTV 510e (Quattro Stick) (Analog-TV/DVB-T/DVB-C/Radio)
- Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 930C Stick (Analog-TV/DVB-T/DVB-C)
- Pinnacle PCTV 320e (Hybrid Stick) (Analog-TV/DVB-T)
- Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 930 Stick (Analog-TV/DVB-T)
- some more USB-TV Sticks (DVB-T or Analog), among them MSI, Pinnacle PCTV 70e, Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T and others

Relevant here is DVB-C, as there is a problem with it: how can I activate or reactivate DVB-C-mode?

Behaviour: after new install of 930C I could choose once in Device List either DVB-T (BDA-tuner) or DVB-C (DVBC), but not both at the same time. Later I tested 930 that does not have DVB-C, so DVB-C-mode is obviously not available. When connecting 510e, there was no DVB-C-mode, When reconnecting 930C, there still was no DVB-C-mode to select in device-list. After another blue-screen-crash, the blue LED on the device is back, but not DVB-C.

Question: how to make appear DVB-C-mode in device-list? As soon as it is there, it can be selected (when deselecting DVB-T) - but how to make it appear when not appearing with "auto"?

And how to "reset" the application without provoking it to crash manually (ctrl-alt-del and kil it with the task-manager)?
