How do I set this up?
I've been trying for a number of years now.
Each time I give up.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Using latest version of ProgDVB (free - if it worked I would look at buying Pro). Have a GeniaTech Digistar card.
This card worked in a previous PC i had a few years ago but has never worked (never been able to pick up any tv) on my present PC.
Am connected to Astra 28 degrees.

Do you still have the original software and driver disk, that came with your tuner?
May well be, you have to install the original software first, or even to set it up once.
In the early days of BDA driven devices, this was necessary for some models, to make them available for 3rd party software.

Anyway, this way you can also prove it survived the transfer and does work on that new platform.

Thanks for your reply.
I still have all the original packaging & s/w discs.
I did try tthis before where I used the disc to load up the s/w.
However, it didn't work then either.

Thinking way back into the past...

AFAIK Geniatech had some tuners, that required to have first the driver and then the original software package (a modified version of ProgDVB) installed from the CD.
If I remember well...
If this does not work, you're out of luck, either Windows version incompatible, or hardware failure
