Greetings, during last week or two the performance of ProgDVB is very poor, the video lags behind audio, ie. its not to follow realtime stream. Moreover ProgDVB has high CPU and RAM usage.
Earlier Prog used about 50% of CPU core, now it uses whole 1 core. I suppose it is too much for just playback (even playback HD AVC is less CPU intensive)
Durin Prog runtime the physical memory utilization increases to 100% and won't drop down even after exit. I must restart windows. I think there's some problem with rendering audio or video.
What audio video codec have I use and which renderer?

I think the problem is in ProgDVB because it worked quite smoothly not long ago and AverTV also seems to play smoothly atm.
Can someone help to find what's set wrong?

Memory utilization depended from timeshift settings. try other video decoder and video renderer.

I have set Timeshift to 1GB file but don't use it. I tried other AudioVideo Codecs and ffdshow seems to work most smooth but still the CPU usage is too hihg comparable to earlier. LAVCUVID should use CUDA and give less CPU utilization but the slowness is with it yet more problem than ffdshow( the picture is far behind audio and still increasing). Can you recommend a tested, flawless and smooth combination of Audio, Video codec and renderers? WMR9 as well as EVR video work for me, but for audio I only can use Prog renderer and ffdshow and Realek Speekers, anything else doesnot work.

If you set 1gb in ram then ProgDVB take this memory when you open channel.

I am recommend test Microsoft codecs from windows or CyberLink or many other codecs. But I am not like fdd video codecs.

Hallo, after expired Elecard codec I uninstall him, but now i have problems with codec.I must have demux Elecard (other crash progDVB or various color artifact and choppy video/sound)Now I look for video codec for DVBT mpeg2+4.I have K-lite codecpack, but ffdshow chopy picture and many artifact errors.Which codec or demux set?Thank you

Try divx also. But cyber is best for slow CPU.
