Re: After almost of 10 years

AAC audio cured itself, now is working good (no more "AAC pin not found").
This permited more tests. What I observed:
1- System renderer and NO audio processor gives fluent audio.
2 - AAC audio sometimes un-sync to video, retunning sometimes re-sync audio-video.
3 - audio processor is problematic with mpeg, good with AAC.
4 - prog audio renderer problematic.

This a mpeg sample to test audio:

PIP is working video, but with audio problems (changing window dont open corresponding audio)

I think Progdvb needs to simplify things.

1- Why 5 demuxers? MS demux is excellent. Work on it, only, I guess.
2 - Why 6 video and 3 audio renderers? Why not a Default pre-selected presenter + renderers to you work on? And just one another Custom to personal experiments?
3 - Many codecs to choose. Its a hell.

How to do tests with all the present possible combinations of codecs, renderes, demuxer? You cant isolate even simple problems this way.

Think there´s a focus missing here, and maybe too much work being wasted (your and our).
Forgive-me if I said more than I would, but is what I think.

But what full name of this audio type?

1. Actually only with Prog Demux I have change code. If you have problem with sync (for example on damaged traffic) with MS then can mail to MS.

2. Because video drivers have lot of bugs. If user have problem with one of render then can use other (other way for working with driver). Most power in Custom EVR.

3. Default codecs in windows is good (ProgDVB select it).

The samples above are full ts record. VLC plays it ok (its a free player). Windows Media Player gives no sound.

VLC gives this informations about the AAC sample:

The audio used in Brazil is:

High Efficiency AAC Profile – , uses AAC-LC, SBR (main)

High Efficiency AAC v2 Profile – uses AAC-LC, SBR, PS (mobile)

The two samples above are the way you ask. I downloaded them now to check, its ok.

In the following pictures (from the same channel of sample above) you can see the Progdvb error.

Progdvb is showing incorrect type, or number, or rate of audio channels of the stream. First picture shows the audio as all AAC, 66.76 Kbits/s
There can not fit 5 channels in a 66 Kbit stream, for example.
