Hi,
Apologies for my first post being a request for help, but I can't seem to get this card working with Progdvb (used old versions and the latest) and always get the above error message. I've looked for log files to provide more info but can't find any so far ..
Any help gratefully received,
Olly
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#2x32? Do you have any BDA drives in TV Sources?
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#3Thanks for the rapid reply.
It is an AMD x32 or x86 (not x64) system (GA-MA74GM-S2H mobo) and a printscreen is attached showing the 'TV sources' dialog box and error dialog box.
No other cards or peripherals are connected to the machine by the way.
If anything else is required please do not hesitate to ask.

Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#4But do you have TV in original software?
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#5Yes. TBSviewer (OEM version of DVBviewer, I think ?) software that came on the bundled CD works okay - watching TMC on ATL3 (5 west) now.
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#6Hm. I am not have good idea. Try disable and enable device in this dialog. Also try start ProgDVB first time from installer.
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#7Also you can try remove tbs.ebda2 file from modules.
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#8Already tried both of those ideas, as they had already been mentioned in previous posts. Easy Blindscan also works okay and uses a "SAA7140" bda device I think (I will upload the ini and log files tonight to show you what I mean),
Thanks again for the ideas

Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#9Seems you have another application using the card. look for and kill any other aplication in task manager.
Re: TBS6925 + fresh WinXP install = BDA device not started
#10If only it was as simple as another application using the hardware at the same time.
The TBSviewer application doesn't have a log file or ini file to upload but Easy Blindscan has Streamreader.log (see below) which makes mention of a turbosight (SAA7160) based bda extension being used, but I'm unsure whether this is just for the blind scan.
Having read about the 'DeviceID' on similar questions, I'm wondering if mine is set correctly in the Progdvb.ini file so have attached that one too.
