I cant't find channels on one of two sats. Twinhan 1027

#1
I search channels of one sat with NO problems, I find them. But the second one I don’t find any channel. I live in north America.

I’m newbie and trying to set up my new dvbs. This is my hardware and software:

On the roof DTV antenna with a multiswitch 4x4 22Mhz chan mast. I’m using one out for dvb. I’m using one out of the multiswitch for my pansat 3500 (it’s working great) this is its config of my fta:
Sat 119
22 mhz on
Diseqc off
Type of lnb: Universal 11250 mhz

Sat 110
22 mhz off
Diseqc off
Type of lnb: Universal 11250 mhz

I’m using the second out for dvb.

In my PC:
My card is TwinHand AD-SP200(1027) with the original driver
Windows XP SP2
Memory 1 GB
Directx 9.0
ProgDVB 5.13.4
VPlug 2.1.0

I have read some posts, and I know that there are problems with diseqc and Twinhand 1027.

Right now I found channels on 119. But I don’t find any on 110.

I configure probdvb with a Switch 22Mhz, LOF1 11250
LOF2 0

But I have doubts:

How Can I configure ProgDVB to turn on/off 22Mhz?
Is there any Twinhan 1027 working for 119 and 110?
Any guide for vplug, I install fresh keys but I can’t see something on 119?

Thanks in advance for your help.

22 kHz, not MHz.

Anyway, what kind of a switch is it, exactly?
Does it use 22 kHz for switching, or is it a DiSEqC switch?
In ProgDVB you can set up a switch and set it's properties to be a 22kHz position switch, add the LNBs there.

But as we all know, there's a lot of proprietary hardware on the American market, which we would never get to play around with, there's a far better chance for you to get helped in the NA related section of dvbn.happysat.org (register to read there).

22 Khz is a tone to control to choose a sat.

Anyway, what kind of a switch is it, exactly?
Switch 4x4 by Channel Master. It can be used on DirecTV Para Todos.

You can see a photo in section 2.2 of this page, at the bottom of photo say something like
This is a photo of an Para Todos 2 satellite "4X4 switch". Tomorrow I'll give you, the number part of this switch and model.

It is not a DiseqC switch. Because on the configuration of my fta is turn off diseqc.

I used the section of switch of 22 khz. But I must turn on the tone of 22 khz for the LNB of sat 119 and turn off for LNB 110. This is the way that dvb choose one of the two sats.

I add one swithc in the section of switch of 22khz.
Add two lnbs.

My questions are

How Can I turn On the tone 22khz for LNB of my sat 119 in ProgDVB ?

and

How Can I turn Off the tone 22khz for LNB of my sat 110 in ProgDVB?

Thanks for your help.

With a 22kHz switch added in DiSEqC / LNB settings, the first LNB would be the one with 22 kHz off, the second on.
BTW, normally 22kHz is a continuous signal, tone burst switching is a DiSEqC variety instead, working different. So don't set to use tone burst, unless your switch supports this. Set the properties of a normal two ports DiSEqC switch for being a 22kHz position switch.

However, this is exactly the proprietary American way we don't go here, due to basic technical reasons.
Since back in 1994, we Europeans are using 22kHz for band switching, not for position anymore.

It's possible, you have to use special transponder lists and / or DiSEqC / LNB settings for this.
So again, please read at DVBN.
