ProgDVB 5.14.4

#1
today i have tested ProgDVB 5.14.4 and it seems this is a stable version for me since version 5.13.9.
it's not crashing any more at startup, no record problems any more and also no playback problems in Windows Media Player.
But the sound problem is still present. I have tried many combinations of audio/video codecs and video renders but no result.
the same thing happens again if a channel doesn't have sound i go to settings>options i click the ok button without making any changes and the channel now has sound it's realy weird :).

Please give an example, with full details, as bird, transponder, IDs and alike.

Over here in Germany, there are a few local stations, that change A & V IDs for some transmissions at a given time.

One of those is
NDR FS HH+
Astra 19.2°E
12422 H 27500

Generally:
PCR: 2701
VID: 2701
AID: 2702

Local magazine time (18:00 - 18.15 Mo - Fr, 19:30 - 20:00 each day, Berlin summer time):
PCR: 2501
VID: 2501
AID: 2502

All others stay the same all the time:
TID 1201
SID 28325
NIT 1
PMT 2500
TXT 2704
AC3 0
ECM 0

This new transmission does not split or share with anything else, it's available 24/7.
The older 19:30 transmission still shares with
EinsExtra-alt
at 12110 H 27500, but IDs are completely different and fixed there, a second (virtual) station
NDR FS HH
on the same transponder changes over there at 19:30.

This is pretty nasty but true...

Have not yet tested with modern versions of ProgDVB, but my favourite one, 4.84.1w9x, notices changes, but can't handle those. Even after a channel update, station would have to be retriggered, to execute changes, else audio fails, goes to a false stream from another station.

Possibly similar may still irritate newer versions, but I can't test all to soon.

ok

for example this channel causes that some other channels don't have sound

Kanal T 11996 V 26000 at 42.0 West
PIDS
PID 388
PMT 40
PCR 41
Video 385

if i watch this channel and i switch to another channel for example

NTV 12717 V 5925 at 42.0 West
PIDS
PID 256
PMT 32
PCR 8190
Video 308

then this channel (NTV) has no sound. then when i click settings>options and the ok button without making any changes the channel now has sound.

when NTV is tuning and i close ProgDVB and i start it again then NTV now has normal sound. or if i switch from another channel to NTV then NTV has normal sound too.

summery: there are some channels which cause that some other channels do not have sound. after clicking settings>options and ok button everything is ok

P.S. there are some channels that are not effected by Kanal T those channels have always sound for example

FOX 11782 V 2815
PIDS
PID 769
PMT 257
PCR 768
Video 768

Please do us a favour and check the audio modes, data rates and languages for that channels.
And if one of the effected channels would use multiple audio streams or perhaps change modes over the day, please tell us precisely.

As we don't yet have found any system behind that switching trouble, we need all available technical data around this.

Maybe it's some specific audio mode getting kind of sticky, maybe codec related, whatever else...

This for, Prog would need as good as possible technical specifications, that may then lead to some conclusion on where to start to look after...
I can't help any further with this, as I'm only getting 30W, 13E, 19.2E and 28.2E here, on a fixed multi user dish system, where I can't make position related experiments on ATM.

so far i can see the effected channels don't use multiple audio streams

P.S. on very previous version of ProgDVB for example 5.10xx 5.11xx and some version of 5.12xx i'm not sure which was the last working version. i didn't have any problems so i think this is not a codec related issue cause i'm still using the same codecs. When i use the original software Pinnacle TVCenter i don't have any sound problems.

P.S. does nobody else have the same problem? Perhaps they can give more detailed information. perhaps the info which i give is not enough or i can't explain it good enough.
