Just bought a TBS 5530 USB , set it to DVB-S/S2 via the setup utility.
Using ProgDVB 32bit latest version registered and TBS driver (forcing to install 64bit only) latest.

USALS rotor is not moving (of course i have configured normally in positioner menu).
On my old Skystar PCI and Skystar (1) USB, USALS is working.

Tried in my laptop too, still on TBS 5530 no USALS.

Using DVBviewer registered and TBS 5530, USALS working normally.

Also another problem on the TBS 5530 is the Signal indicator , displays random signals even when tuner is unlocked ... (but seems it is driver problem)

One idea. Try ProgDVB prerelease.

Just tried the (PRO) pre-release , the same results. TBS 5530 is not moving rotor.

Also now i have another one question.
When i try to search for channels in 23.5 and 28.2 , instead of the normal search channels window, the TV sources windows opens.
That happens on these 2 satellites, in 13 19 and 39 which i tried , the search window open normally.

I have confirmed that 23.5 and 28.2 are checked in the satellites list of the positioner.
I also have placed a 26-dec-2024 (30W-70E) satellites.xml (from satellites-xml.org) into the /Program Files (x86) / ProgDVB Proffesional / Transponders/ folder , so transponders are surely included.

1. Please send me logs of USALS using.

2. That mean position not configured.

2) yes, even with this config , when i try to goto channel search menu, instead, the TV sources menu opens...
i also tried enabled in positioner all satellites , and again 28.2 goes to TV sources menu.

I left only 28.2 here to test the search window.
Normally i use 13,19.2,23.5,28.2 and 39. That' where i tested the USALS.

1. Try new prerelease.
2. I am not have good idea. But try setup in "simple mode" of TV sources dialog.

1) USALS seems to started working now, i could find channels 13, 16 and 19. But in 39 it didn't go.
I will do further tests.

2) The problem of 28.2 not scanning and going to TV sources menu is from satellites.xml. I did a clean install it worked, when i put satellites.xml problem started.

3) while setting up rotor the dropdown menus allowed me to select only country (Greece) , the city list was empty and put LAT and LON manually (also restarted program didn't fix)

4) There is an issue with the receiving i get pixelazed picture in all channels (some kind of continuous USALS word sending (???) disturbing reception) , this didn't started now i always had.

5) Do you know why i get random signal/quality ? Even when no Lock ,Signal ~82% and Quality is 100%.

I will keep testing.

3. Hm. I am not test Usals function very long time. Possible bug in UI. I check that for next version of ProgDVB.

pixelazed and signal level not depended from ProgDVB. This is hardware level problem. But maybe the city coordinates for usals are not accurate. I advise to use a regular positioner. It's more reliable

1) No xml , no problem. The problem starts when using the satellites.xml .
Probably a mismatch on data parsing from the .xml . I also used a fresh, today's xml from satellites-xml.org (range 30W-70.5E).

3) The city dropdown bug wasn't on the normal release , i had used it successfully then.

i am a USALS fan , i have 3 dishes SG-2100 or compatible.
