Win7/x64 here. I tried installing clean Win7, also Vista, x86 Win7, WinXP. Different drivers. It´s still the same. Don´t have any other idea, then it´s ProgDVB/HW issue. All other soft I use works correctly. Maybe it´s SS HD2 issue in ProgDVB.

1 - Could you look at audiorenderer and tell me the values there, you have? Breaks and silence. And what VGA and soundcard are you using?
2 - could you please check if "default waveout device" works for you? No audio un-sync or cracks

Thx.

I tested and found that with win 7 i have no audio when using "waveout" AND with audio processor on. When processor is off, audio is ok.

When using "default directsound" it works both with audio processor on or off.

Did you try turning audio processor off?

Yes, AP is off all the time.

I don´t understand. We both have Win7, I set the exact same filters and renderers as you. But I have hugy un-sync when using waveout after few minutes. (BTW, with AP on I also have no audio with waveout)

Could you please tell me what mobo, vga, soundcard are you using? Do you have any breaks and silence?

I use ATI 4550 to tests. It is hdmi, has audio and video card to tv as monitor. The mobo´s onboard audio is disabled in bios. The system is a Core Duo 1.8GHz.

Mine´s HD 3870, will try to hook it on HDTV and try. What refresh rate do you use on your VGA and HDTV? So you have no breaks and silence in renderer?

Today I found some problems, same as mine. I disabled AHCI on controller, also disabled C1E and E1st in bios on my EP35-DS3R. It seems it´s much better, low breaks and silence, but still some.

I use standard (default) configs in bios. Use 60Hz refresh rate. Have no major problems with audio. Now I remembered that i had bad audio when using automatic volume control of Windows Media Player, so I let it disabled.

Still problems with sound, breaks, silence, cracks. I changed almost everything in settings on my mobo, vga, soundcard, OS, no help.

This is directsound after 10mins in DVBDream:

This is directsound after 2mins in ProgDVB:

Same codecs, same channel. So, I believe it is inside ProgDVB. Incompatibility with some HW - audio card, VGA, DVB-S, mobo..don´t know.

- Timeshift on/off, diff. size, memory, HDD
- AP on/off
- audio codecs (MPEG Audio, Elecard, MS-DTV, Cyberlink, AC3Filter)
- video codecs (...)
- all renderers
- all demuxers (elecard, cyberlink, MS)

What else can I try, and why is this not working correctly for me?

I know it's an old thread, but.., i have the same audio problems as Yany.
I have win7, creative pcie audio, audio cracks , and problem is bigger on tv audio channels, like mtv.
on dvbdream, dvbviewer, no sound problem with the same codecs.

In audio render i have discontinuties, breaks, error, is full of it.

With realtek onboard, same situation...

Try Prog Demux (in modern versions of ProgDVB)
