1. Not clear for me. You change playback mode (only for current channel).

2. Try wait 20 minutes more. Still no result? Looks like scanner working but UI not updating.

1. Playback mode is per channel option. Global one in Options->Engine

I don't clearly provider,you can for example it.
I use list m3u upload on website ottplayer.es,then i download ott on chplay,i login on app OTT when app OTT connect with website and play mylist uploaded.
And app ProgTV,i don't know use it
