I did a clean re-install, at C:/ProgDVB, set compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 2, run as administrator.

Then I ran a scheduled task to open ProgDVBNet.exe, but this error was listed in Task Scheduler:
0xE0434F4D

It did not open at the scheduled time, 16:57:22 (which was done for testing purposes)
so what's gone wrong?

I upgraded to 6.51.1, scanned the multiplexes but it didn't find other ones, but anything pre-6.51 did, 6.50.01 does.

Anyone know of a fix to this problem? is installing .NET Framework 2.0 the solution?

For the record, I have the following .NET frameworks installed:
1.1
4 Client Profile
4 Extended

(these three came with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit)

I suspect, but can't be certain, that this causes the ProgDVB crash.

Imposible _start_ ProgDVB without .net 2.0

Prog wrote:1. ProgDVB support only push demux. I am not know other demuxs with push model.
2. I can modify only ProgDemux. About Elecard demux you can mail to Elecard. But really MS most stable.
3. I think it is not need for most demuxs.
After reading this again I think that there is a misunderstanding here at point no 3. I wasn't proposing to add a new demux. Only a check box present on the same Options page that should enable a "filters" reset at channel change. It is enough to give a stop command and then set the next channel.

@ackwynd: do you have a password set for the user which is logged in on WinXP? The Task scheduler doesn't work if the user that is logged on doesn't hasn't a password set. Try to create a simple Task in windows scheduler and see if it works. I presume that this is the problem and not the missing .NET 2.0. IF the .NET was missing you will not be able to open the application at all.

Note that WinXP allows to log on with Administrator without password if is the only user on the machine but the scheduled tasks will not work. The same user and password (not an empty one!) must be set in ProgDVB.

I am not know other push demuxs. Do know one? And I am not like lot of settings. My aim is simple interface. Most users not know what is "demux".

OK, if you aim for a simple interface then place a parameter in the ProgDVB.ini only for very advanced users...

You probably find my request strange but the MS demux doesn't always work. If you still have a TT DVB-S Premium (soft mode) try to watch the DanceNation or TheVault channels from Astra 28.2 11642/V/27500 when the MS demux is used. The image freezes after 10-15 minutes. Maybe you can fix this and then I do not need the Elecard demux and escape the problems with the MPEG2 constant bit rate channels from cable.

There used to be problems with MS on cable for the HD channels too... no overlay at all only audio (H264). Used to work fine with Elecard thought. However this doesn't interest me much because are only temporary not encrypted and they do not provide separate CAM to decrypt them in the future. Any way the pro version has expired and these are not of interest now... at least for me.

As an overall conclusion after two days of trying every possible setting:
Elecard demux - image and audio on all channels and device but only by pressing STOP before changing channel from one that is encoded MPEG2 with constant bit rate. If the stop is not pressed then the audio is not present any more or out of synch for others.
MS demux - image and audio for must of the channel except the ones from Astra28.2 11642 with TT premium and some HD channels. No workaround for these problems at all.
Cyberlink demus - same as MS.
ProgDVB- stuttering image on DVB-C and no image at all on TT premium. This is way I have not want you to modify it. It would probably not be able to use it. anyway

PS: I also didn't knew much about demux before running into these problems...

May be in future. I am not like this function at this moment.

ps: Please record me sample of constant and VR channels from your provider.

I have uploaded the requested files and sent the links by PM.

Were the ones for the subtitles ok? Have you reproduced the problem?

How the recorded samples worked? Have you found something wrong about them?

Yes, New year in Russia very long :(
But I am not found subtitles in your sample. Subtitles stream is total empty. Check settings of recording or use Pid recorder module.

PID recorder was not checked. :( I will make now some new recordings and upload them. But the setting to record the subtitles was checked. Could be that I have recorded from the timeshift buffer?

What about the other two? Realitatea and TVR1? Something wrong about those? Those do not have subtitles but are strange.
