Never heard about such a messoage with progDVB before.
Asking google gives many results, but they all seem to relate to TIFF pictures.
Except of one, yours....

Whom does that message really belong to, resp. who brings it on screen, Windows itself, or .net / C++, who else?

Does the Technisat soft run well?

What Vista version, exactly?
More details?

But as there's nothing TIFFy inside of ProgDVB, as far as I know, I'm completely clueless now...

Hard ware
Abit aw9d max
Asus 8800 gtx
i have test everything install vista 3 times nothing works
Test with all bda driver . wenn i start prob
error window popup
Connect TIF error ! i click ok next popup
Prog dvb engine
Devises not started ( bda technotrend bda/dvb-s tuner )
Skystar software also not working
driver is installd and all ok but nothing works
Sh++ vista with xp all works perfekt i will setup xp . are better
but i like vista with all the new things but to buggy

...business as usual, once they solve most of the bugs and make it run quite fine, they will not hesitate to stop supporting it soon after.
Again giving you the chance, to buy and then test their latest beta bug engine...

now with doanloaded driver and now works all
im werry happy prog version 5 works werry godd its the best yeeea
now im must wait hawe problems with hotbird no signal on astra ok
all hd programs works also wooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww
