progdvb + winXP x64 problem

II'm using skystar2. Ihave progdvb working on regular windows, however in windows xp x64 pro I get a black screen on all channels. There is a signal bar visible, however left of the channel name where there is supposed to be a green/red square sometimes with a lock icon located under the channel list there is a blank space.

I've tried using drivers from both my cd that came with the product and also drivers from:
http://www.technisat.com/?site=service/ ... hp&&reload

however for some reason they have only 'beta' drivers.

I also installed k-lite but that didn't help either

your signal level and quality is much to low...no wonder that you can´t get any picture...

actually it's quite ok- I'm able to get a clear picture from around 28% upwards. In my normal x32 bit version of windows XP (same computer) I receive that channel perfectly.

BUT on such weak signals, even tiny differences in driver can lead to falure. For example, if the AFC / AGC controls are initiated in a slightly different way...

So go systematical, to find out more.
Does scanning work on 64bit?
Does 'search transponder' give valid / working results?
Do you get 'what's now' in status bar or OSD?
Do TXT and EPG work?

On general problems like this, sound and vision come last, after all the other signal lock and data stream detection based components.

my bad I was tired and ran it on normal windows :oops:

meanwhile on x64 scan transponder does not give results- even with 50% signal. In x32 I can get clear channels even in signal quality of 28% and upwards.

This looks like tuning controls trouble, supposingly a driver issue.
Perhaps the tuner won't lock (in time), or gain control or fine tuning fails.
