after scan: lost channels - undelete

after scan appears a report with 3 lists: new channels - lost channels - undelete, the last 2 lists can be selectable.
I never really got the beahaviour, if I select a channel I suppose it will be not deleted, so what is the function of the undelete list? It seems the same but have different channels

After Channel search I see the dialog with 3 lists, the first are the new channels, ok
then there are LOST and UNDELETE, which can be selected.
I am a registered user since 2010 and never understood what happens if I select some of these channels

what is "lost channels ? , are there cave in a lost cave some lost channels ?

That mean scanner not detect some channels which founded in previous time.
