Now using my new card I have problems scanning the channels with any progdvb version later then 4.71.2. Every version later scans but finds no channels. Only version 4.71.2 does it correctly. What could be a reason???? No changes to hardware were made only versions were being upgraded with a clean install.

In rev. 2.3 a new tuner is working...maybe this make the difference...

just try to copy the ´SkyStar1TT.Device´ file from the modules folder into a newer version...this should work...

btw. My hauppauge Nexus rev. 2.1 is working fine also with the newest progdvb version...

Solution as given tried and still no channels appear while scanning the astra 19,2. Though I can use the 5.09 version when I import the channels into 5.09 it works. Perhaps is it because my OS is XP MCE 2005. Prog is used in XP and the videodecoder is Nvidia Platinum videodecoder.

Starting from one empty channel list for one satellite, it seem that first time scanning successfully only for one single transponder can help for the next full scanning.
I just experimented this for the AMOS 1/2 satellite, where only few transponder can be received here (France) The first time the satellite full scan never end successfuly if no channel are previously stored.

Note : I use USALS motorized dish, maybe it is the problem for me, signal not locked before starting the full scan (lock manually forced when single transponder scanning)
