I didn't find a option to start ProgDVB automatically to record something and shoutdown itselfs after a specified time. That's why I tried to program a small tool to do this...
Now i'm searching for (1-2) beta-testers...
At the beginning i prefer one or two germans, because it is just easier to communicate for me (i'm a german too).
I just tried my tool with ProgDVB 4.72.5[0.82] unser Windows XP Pro... another, higher or even 5.x version user would be nice.

Which method are you using, Windows scheduler or a stand alone application?

Windows, of course. Even ProgDVB needs that to run 
BUT...
even the windows version does matter, as e.g. controls for the windows scheduler are quite different between Win9x and Win2000 (more differences may occur on more modern versions, depending on M$)...
But the same internal scheduler works on both over here.
