can you help me

hi i got my brother who live in the u.s.a who has a c-band dish and he want to watch a particular channel witch work with dvb the satellite is Intelsat 1R at 45.0°W and the channel is called Canal 5 El Lider can he can open this channel with your program that you support can you advise me what exactly he needs to open that channel thank you am looking forward from hearing from you

ProgDVB alone can only open FTA stations.

According to this table

that channel is not crypted, so it can be used.

Buit of course, your dish would have to be aligned properly, big enough - depending on your location and the satellite footprint -, and you have to make the DiSEqC / LNB settings properly.
Selection of C band and using the correct LOF for your LNB are essential.

The transponder list you have to use for scanning is called 3150.ini, the display name of it is written inside of it. If in doubt, check with the editor.


All theory, as I don't have C band over here.
