ProgDVB recording without watching

Hi,

I'm using ProgDVB 4.87.5 which runs quiet flawlessly.

But I'm using it an a HTPC with an Epia 1,0 GHz Board. So
speed is very important to me.

Is it possible to record a channel without watching it?
I mean that only the stream is recorded into a *.mpg file but
there is no decoding.

Also i have noticed that there seems to be some bug in command line parsing. A command such as progdvb /ch:1 /startrecord:"test.mpg" only switches the channel but does not start recording.

Well,

I figured out myself. Just set the Video Renderer to "by codec".
Now you can't see anything, but recording fully works ;-D and
I have about 20% CPU usage when recording.

Don't put more than one command into a single line.

Software decoding can be switched on and off from timeshift buffer state diqalogue. Look at the little clock symbol in the status bar or the file menue.
