- When I wacht tv I use the mainconcept codec for video and nero for audio and I see the codecs working in the file_>propiety menu.
But when I record a channel then when I go to see it I see that it's been used the elecard video and audio codec.
How can I use other codecs for recording channels?
I ve made a print screen of codec by graphedit how can I here in enclose it?
- Then I have problems seeing hdsuisse on hotbird. If I record ts I see it but I'm not able to see it live. Some times a window named active windows open and I see the images but I'm not able to understand how to open it. It seems like the windows that comes out when you play the video in graphedit. But if I try to let playing a video of graphedit than Progdvb crash.
But now HDsuisse it is wacthable by Thinhan PCTV perhaps it is wacthable not all the day.
Thank you for any help :)

You don't use any codec to record, DVB applications just merge streams into a file container, as they are transmitted.
Streams don't carry codec bindings.

On playback, it's the player software, who selects the codec, and Windows also interferes, as it gives priorities to codecs.

Understood and it makes sense.
But by the way may I give a codec priority to windows and other applications?
An why playbacking the recorded file with Rpogdvb I can't decide what codec to use?

On software solutions, playback picture is done by Windows components, too.

Regarding filter priorities, you may search for tools like radlight filter manager.
