Hi,

I try to use my DEC 2000 and Vista, but can“t get it to work :/

I have a few questions:

1. Do I have to install the Hauppauge drivers to use it with ProgDVB?
2. If not, ProgDVB hang up on start with the 2000 plugin installed.
3. Is it even possible to use Vista, DEC 200 and ProgDVB together?

Thx from Germany :)

But you're not alone there...

YES, you need drivers to contact ANY USB device.
And there's no real chance, any Windows version would have an integrated one for that hardware...

All Devices are ok, but not the Virtual STB-S/-C-T Network Adapter.
Theres this little sweet sign in front of the device..

Do you also find the hauppauge as an audio / video / game device?
If so, you should not need the networking device, deactivate or even uninstall it.
Regarding some other hauppauge DVB devices and Vista, it is told, the networking device should not be installed there.

Sorry, you are using a platform, that should still be given beta state.
No Windows generation has ever been running well before the first SP came out, at least...

That's all from me here now, as I don't have any of your components.
