Dear All,
I've installed the most recent versions of ProgDVB (4.88.4 and 5.12.4) and i can't even get it work. When ProgDVB starts, it prompts 3 dialog messages, described below:
1) Tuner space not founded!
2) Device not started!
({BDA} DTV-DVB Mantis DVBS BDA Receiver)
3) Cannot load filter and connect
All the software and drivers bundled with the board were installed. It works perfectly with DigitalTV 3.3 (the original software bundled).
I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Edition.
Can anybody help me with this ? I can't get it work ...
Best Regards,
Wagner Bila

1) leads to 2) and then to 3).
Means, there will be a common cause, tuning space registry entries missing.
Don't have Vista here to play around with, but there's a good chance, the registry structure is different.
Perhaps someone else can help, who has a similar BDA device running on Vista ?

Juergen,
If you can tell me where the tuner space registry should be in the registry, then i can try to poke around ... do you know where it should be located ? If you can also send me a normal value of it, then maybe i can guess what it should expect when ProgDVB starts and try to correct it.
Best Regards,

Our search function does not only point to this thread, if asking for tuning space (all terms).
One of the other results:

Juergen,
Sorry but this thread didn't help me much ... the entries exists in the registry, they're very similar to what i see. So, i can't figure out what i can do to fix it.
Who's the ProgDVB developer ? Can we work together to try to fix it for the next ProgDVB release ? I'm offering myself and my environment to improve ProgDVB ...
Best Regards,

The developer of ProgDVB calls himself 'Prog'.
You will find his e-mail at the bottom of each page here.
Write in simple English or in Russian.
BTW, as this site is being scanned by all the search engine crawlers frequently, it's better, to not post your e-mail addresse in a machine readable way.

Supposingly the registry structure and / or handling is somewhat different on Vista.
