I don't have that hardware here, to test on.

But one thing is for sure, remote controls don't have extra device files / modules in ProgDVB.

Either it is supported natively by the DVB device (though AFAIK such only is available for the SS1 / Nexus yet), or it is registered in your system control as HID, by this emulating mouse or keyboard - not remote - controls, or you are out of luck.
