I have a little problem with progdvb because I can't find new channel when I scan the satelitte

I use progdvb 4.85.3 with the nexus card (SS1)
I have the signal of transponder, but can't find any channel

If Iput an old channel list, I can watch all channels

ps : with the last progdvb, progdvb crash on start with selected device (the memory can't be read in "0x00000000"), I start progdvb without device card, and after start dezvice card (SS1) and progdvb work
ps2 : I used the last driver for this card (version 2.19)

what can I do for do progdvb work correctly

Try make a fresh scan ( don't use the old channels.dat )

That start problem with device loaded points to some other basic trouble.

You should provide us with all rerlevant data, like OS, DirectX, precise driver source revision (TT 2.19 / 2.19c / 2.19h...), HW or SW mode, mainboard chipset and more like this.

This is not a general bug, as I am using my Nexus 2.2 in HW mode here on Win98SE, Win2000 SP4 and (for testing purposes only) XP SP2.
Driver from TT 2.19h, DirectX 9c, i845G, P4 1700 MHz. RADEON 9250
4.x W9x versions also tested under 2k and XP, NT versions too.

I Think you sould Download the latest version ( 4.89.1 or 5.13.1).
I rebember that version 4.85.3 has a problem with scan, or if you want 4.85 version you sould install 4.85.1.

driver for card : 2.19c (in file .inf : DriverVer=09/07/2004,1.7.0.6)
where can I find the last version 2.19h? because I don't see it in the hauppauge site.
HW or SW mode is the same problem
CPU : Athlon XP 2400+
RAM : 1024 Mo
motherbord : K7S5A (last drivers)
GPU : Nvidia GeFORCE FX5200 (last driver)


with 4.89.1 : I can scan channel, and see this channels, but if I close progdvb and open, progdvb crash with error (if I restart progdvb without device card, it start correctly, may be the device file is corrupted)

with 4.85.3 : I can't scan channel (you said it normal a bug) and I must use it with old channel list for work it (with this parade, progdvb start correctly, and I can watch my channels)

The manufacturer is Technotrend.
Just add .com or .de ...

Perhaps try ProgDVB 4.56.2 or even an older one.

I do step by step my config (size , option etc...)

and when I choice "refresh channel if lost signal" , progdvb crash when I start it (with 4.89.01)

If so, perhaps this is not causing a real crash, but 'just' slowing down the system enormously, until a signal gets locked.
That kind of behaviour is known for years now, and that option was only introduced, to fix a physical issue on some Nexus / SS1 cards, that require a second try on start time, due to a degraded or bad electrolytic capacitor in it's voltage converter stage (> 330µF / 25V LowESR 105°C should be).
