Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here

I try your current version 7.17.9x64 now:

import settings from older version-> crash (attachment logs)

Language: german --> I am not able to change back to default language english

Sat scan (Astra 19.2) works fine.
But when I try to choose any Station (ZDF neo HD for example) there is no video.(attachment)
Maybe there is a problem with the video codecs? (attachment)

What number of windows 10 update which is a problem source?
I have just installed 16.03.2017ProgDVB v7.17.9. Fix crash on Windows10 with last updates but this also does not work for me.

Sorry, I hope I now understand logs and attach a new log for the new 7.17.09x64 update (edited for privacy). Unlike previous version this one now starts OK in Win10x64 but after I enter an m3u playlist and the channel list appears, when I click on any channel to start streaming the ProgDVB program aborts, disappears from screen without any warning message.

Can you please advise? Many thanks for feedback.

Seems that Microsoft smashed some codec :
"After investigating, this is the filter responsible:
Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\msmpeg2vdec.dll
{212690FB-83E5-4526-8FD7-74478B7939CD}"

People have problems with .ts files and some with mp4 files.

For Win10 deinstalling the latest update KB 4013429 helps.
I use shutup10 for blocking the update to reinstall.

Uninstall the KB is no option, I think.

my workaround:

https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases

LAVFilters-0.68.1-Installer.exe download and install

start progdvb

settings

video codecs
MPEG-2 –> LAV Video Decoder
H.264/AVC –> LAV Video Decoder –>settings LAV Video Decoder—> Formats—> disable “use Microsoft WMV9 DMO Decoder...”—>OK –> restart progdvb

After that, my progdvb works fine again on 2 machines.
