Hello.

I just installed the newest version of Progdvb and it is working almost properly. The only problem i have is this: Nothing happens if i click on the button "Plugins".
So i ignored that and put my plugin in the directory but than progdvb does not start anymore. The starting screen freezes and i have to reset my system! I tried the version 4.xx but the same problem occured.

Hopefully someone here knows what to do and can help me. Thank You!

What button???
Never seen one named 'Plugins'...

But there is a menue item 'Plugins', that should start showing items once at least one (MD_API) plugin is found on ProgDVB start.
Plugins can be located in the base folder of ProgDVB or in a subfolder named 'Plugins'.

Don't mix up with Modules, which normally show up in 'Services'.

oh yes i mean the menue item plugins. this does not work for me. nothing happens if i move my mouse over it or try to click it. And the plugin i put in the "progdvb/plugins" folder causes my pc to freeze if progdvb is started with the plugin in it! With another programm it works!

You will find huge plugin sections and even most of their authors at dvbn.happysat.org

Some plugins may only be for some DVB applications, as not just the MD_API must be there, but some may as well depend on other ressources, like DVBCore, or some specific runtime environment, for example. Some may even depend on Windows versions, hardware / drivers or whatever else.

ProgDVB does support all the functions of MD_API.

hallo Jürgen,

is there a plugin like Greenbutton 0.3 for Progdvb which can handle Premiere Sport Portal and Direkt subchannels ??

this and the picture in picture function i need to use Progdvb forever and purchase it for the 25 euros.

an answer would be great :D

AFAIK, Greenbutton collides with the internal EPG on older versions. On those you had to use Relict EPG instead.
On modern versions, RelictEPG does not work, but I don't know, if the resource collision still exists.

Best way would surely be, if ProgDVB once learned, to handle sub channels on it's own...

However, this is a typical case, where some advice from an existing user might be pretty helpful...
