Using a technotrend c1500 and ProgDVB 4.89.6 on Vista home premium. Signal quality is about 65-75% on all channels. But sometimes when i click on a channel, I get no signal, but if I cick again I do get a signal. Which tbh is very annoying. Using mytheatre this does not happen at all and it gets a signal for every channel each time.

Any reason for this and is their any solution?

This may (but not must) be due to some deviation of the or some transponder frequencies your provider uses.
Try to find out by manually detuning a treansponder. This would give you a true hold range center offset, that may require an edit in your transponder list.
MT may use a slightly different automatic frequency control, sometimes giving different results.

btw is it possible for a pc(with vista) with progdvb running to automatically go into sleep mode after a certain amount of inactivity? Or will sleep mode only work if you manually do it on your pc?

Depends on a lot of aspects, like hardware and driver, the sleep mode type S* and much more.
