This is strange.
Here on my system your Elecard screenshot looks scaled absolutely perfect, the NVidia aspect ratio is wrong, the poor guy looks like a fat elephant...
Though, the Elecard picture misses parts of the upper and lower region, cut away possibly due to some wrong upscaling instead of letterbox for your AR..
This leads me to the conclusion, both must be giving somewhat wrong results.
Obviously something is generally wrong with your system, regarding aspect ratios.
First of all, make sure your desktop scales correct.
Get a desktop background picture, that contains a precise circle and has the native resolution of the screen. Don't allow any scaling there. Check AR with the circle..
Look for ntest (Nokia monitor tester), check again.
Then record some test picture from satellite, the arabian stations may bring one at night. Play back in mplayer2.exe, it should be a bit to narrow due to 720 non square instead of 768 square pixels.
Power DVD instead should scale correct.
You may have to check all screen related settings, then video overlay, 3rd party players, after all that comes DVB. Even then, first compare with the original software. ProgDVB and codec related settings come as last.
Also compare with another version of ProgDVB, as there may possibly be a bug in AR controls on one.
Don't lie to your computer at any stage...

You can try change video render.

Have done some more tests with my BDA DVB-T today, and I can confirm, not just the AR signalling betweeen DVB tuner / software and the codec may be an issue, but the communication between codec and renderer as well.

hi again i found the cause there is some thing not ok between vmr and Elecard under progdvb, because i tried Elecard video decoder with some other dvb applications "altdvb as example" in first time the AR was not ok but just switching off vmr maintain aspect ratio in Elecard setting fix all matters, but when i set this option in Elecard under prodvb no changes picture uper and lower sid stay unvisible.
