ProgDVB + Vista + SkyStar USB = Problem

Hi,
Below is my problem description, please help me solving it:
1. ProgDVB (v 5.14.01)
2. Windows Vista Ultimate.
3. SkyStar USB (driver v4.4.1)
History: I was having XP installed on my laptop with the same receiver and ProgDVB; i was having no issues at all. Everything was woking very well.
Then, I installed Vista with the driver and then ProgDVB which recognized the receiver with no issue. inside the ProgDVB, i can see the Level and Quality values changing while searching for channels.
THE PROBLEM:
in ProgDVB, I defined the device and Diseq settings. Then, when I try to search for channels, it scans but stores no channels!!! during the scan, I can see the Level and Quality change.
I had to install VMware and install XP as a virtual PC just to see TV!!! Yes, It is working very fine but That's bothering>>>>
Please help solve the problem...
